Window harps are to be hung vertically or placed horizontally on the inside of a window frame, where draughts and breezes blowing across their strings play the harmonic series of notes. The various airs can be likened to being different ‘composers’, taking many years for a listener to become familiar with the wind harp’s spontaneous ‘repetoire’. Whether placed in a window of a home, work place, or institution, window harps create a refreshing ambiance- naturally!

Door Harps (sliding glass) are similar to window harps, but have a 6′ soundbox, allowing for a variety of string lengths that create a more colorful palette of harmonic music with less wind (stay tuned for an upcoming recording). Simply hang from one screw in the door frame.

Grand Aeolian Harps stand on their own as beautiful sculptures. Their majestic presences definitely evoke respect and admiration. This particular model stands 7.5′ tall and is strung with forty-eight 5’2″ strings. It plays a rich spectrum of powerful harmonic tones. The wind-vane at top may be easily removed to allow passage of the harp through a doorway to access either a porch or a patio.

Harmonic sanctuaries are wind harps in the form of weather-proof hexagonal or octagonal structures, measuring from four to twelve feet in diameter, and seating two to twenty-two people, respectively. The hexagonal model pictured above is a wind harp built for two. It measures 4′ in diameter and is 11′ feet tall to the base of the steeple. It is situated on a trailer, and is available for rent for celebrations, weddings, parties, workshops and retreat centers.
